New Regulation by Central Bank of Egypt - IBAN

Kindly note that Central Bank of Egypt decided to start using (International Bank Account Number) IBAN for telegraphic bank transfers by 30-June-2020. Telegraphic bank transfers using whether account number or IBAN will continue to be accepted & processed until further notice from Central Bank of Egypt. In that respect, this is to emphasize that in all cases beneficiary bank details (Bank Name, bank address, country, swift code…etc.) will still be required to proceed with any telegraphic bank transfer.
IBAN is a bank account number that is recognized by banks and other financial institutions around the world. It’s a standardized way of identifying bank account, which cuts down errors and delays in sending international& local Payments.
Accordingly, you are kindly requested to include the IBAN number while processing for any transfer to Maersk, hereunder please find the IBAN numbers related to each account:
