2020 August ME1 blanking EB SCL
In anticipation of reduction in demand due to summer holidays, Maersk has endeavoured to make a couple of blanked sailings to match demand from North Europe to Indian Subcontinent and Middle East. We aim to minimize the impact to our customers supply chain and provide predictability by securing a service plan and alternative routings upfront.
We will make 2 suspensions of the ME1 service in week 30 and 32 sailing from Europe. The service will run in standard rotation in between. To ensure our customers face as little business disruption, the port calls on the ME1 service will be covered on other services in our network.
If you have further questions, we encourage you to visit www.safmarine.com or liaise with your local Safmarine customer service representative.
